Enterprise Guide is an interface as is Base SAS. Data analysis can also be done in batch mode or command line mode but I'm not aware of any "canned" interface specific to SAS. What is missing or what problems are you encountering that makes want a different interface?

Access to a number of data sources is in the SAS/Access module which has available interfaces to many database systems. Also ODBC is available from SAS.

Hi

Thank you.

I do not want to use a sas base ( in back office)

acces perhaps as interface.

I want to create a reeport, if we click on " button in a nice inerface ", I get the report, but behind this report, some treatement

I agree with @LinusH - you probably want to use SAS stored processes, which you can invoke via web service or VBA.  SAS offers the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, which provides you with access to SAS data and computations in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook -- but not Microsoft Access.  For that, you'll have to use the open APIs to call stored processes or access data using ODBC or OLE DB.

@ChrisHemedinger:

Thank you your answer.

Please, I have two questions :

1-  To do that , Can we use a SAS stored processes with  VBA.  if we do not have a  SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office ?

2- Please, can you give some exemples "the open APIs to call stored processes" ?

Hi @LineMoon, here's a thread that contains an example that might help.

I'm not sure if I understand your requirement fully.
Can you please elaborate and perhaps give an example on what you need to do?

So what do you have?
And what do you mean by "I"?
It could be really useful for us after this bombardment of questions to understand your environment.
What SAS licenses for you have?
How many end users?
How many developers?
What kind of applications?
The nature of the business requirements SAS at your site are trying to solve?
Etc...

Strange. All the variate of questions indicates that. And if you are responsible for solving the issues that ask about you ought to know these things. If you don't, ask someone who does know.
