Hi Guys,
I'm super new to SAS. I've done two courses and I'm just starting to redesign some reports (in SQL/Excel) in Enterprise guide.
For one- I'm trying to get myself acquainted with what resources are out there.
I've tried googling this, but haven't anything (which is odd).
Either way, I'm having trouble with a date.
The table in the DB is coming up correctly in SAS. I can see the dates and SAS seems to recognize the field is a date (if I open the table. SAS assigns a calendar logo to the field and dates appear as "13JUL2011:00:00:00.000"
When my task is run, the dates come back in that format no worries.
As soon as I try to change to FORMAT=DATE9 I get the following output *********
It would seem that it's not happy to convert.
Where do I start to work through this?

I found a solution.
If someone else reads this with the same issue: It's because the field is a DateTime, not a Date.
