I notice EG 7.15 has been released as part of SAS 9.4M5:

Does anyone know if there is more information available on the new features apart from the above link?
If you install Enterprise Guide 7.15 you will have some more information at the in product documentation.
"Open Help--> SAS Enterprise Guide Help" and look for "What's new in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1"
Here are the most important parts:
What's New in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1 SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15
What's New in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1
Catalog and Formats Explorer
Starting in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15, the Catalog and Formats Explorer is available. (In previous releases, this functionality was available as a downloadable custom task.) With the Catalog and Formats Explorer, you can explore SAS libraries and the catalogs in those libraries. You can view the metadata (name, description, created and modified dates) for every catalog entry. You can view the contents of some entry types, such as SOURCE entries and format entries. You can also delete entries. For more information, see Viewing the SAS catalogs and formats in your current SAS session.
New accessible PDF option
Starting in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15, you can use the Create accessible PDF option to add accessibility metadata to your PDF results. The metadata enables the file to be accessed by assistive technology such as a screen reader. For more information, see Setting PDF results options.
Opening script files in the text editor
Starting in SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15, the File extensions to open as text by default option includes script files (*.sh). For more information, see Setting viewer options.

Many thanks to @AndreasMenrath and @CaseySmith for their helpful replies.
Thanks @CaseySmith. I'm intrigued by the prospect of automating management of the project log "more natively."
I can imagine different possible implementations. But I'd love to see something like the PC SAS Display Manager commands be implemented in EG, where you can use the DM commands to manage the client. That was handy.
@Quentin, what I meant by that is providing options to enable users to more easily control the project log behavior. Currently, when the project log reaches a hard-coded maximum size (5 MB), EG notifies the user that the project log is full (and they get notified every time a new log is generated, which can be annoying). The only way to avoid the notification is to clear the project log.
In a future release, we plan to give you a choice of behavior when the project log is on, such as:
Adding something to EG similar to the DM commands is interesting. Will think about that.

Hi.
Any idea where I can read more about this new feature:
Thank you.
Rain
Hi Rain,
The Help built into EG (Help->SAS Enterprise Guide Help) is probably your best bet for now. (I didn't find much external documentation). Once in EG's Help window, you can navigate to the topic via Contents tab->Running SAS Tasks->SAS Tasks->Built-in Tasks and SAS Studio Tasks->About SAS Studio Tasks. Or you can search "Studio" on the Search tab of the Help window to find that topic.
Some things to note:
-Using the SAS Studio tasks in EG requires SAS Studio to either be installed on your machine (Single-user Edition) or in your environment (Enterprise Edition w/ URL in metadata).
-Using the SAS Studio Viya tasks requires EG 7.15 or later and SAS Studio 3.7 or 3.71.
-Using the SAS Studio Viya tasks and/or manually submitting CAS code requires SAS 9.4M5 or later (since that is the SAS version direct support for CAS code was added).
-Using the SAS Studio Viya tasks requires using CAS data as input (data from CAS engine libraries). So, you'll have to start a CAS session and assign one or more CAS libraries before running one of the SAS Studio Viya tasks.
Casey
