Hello @Amarnadh,
what version of SQL Server have you got? And How are you connecting to it (ODBC, OLEDB, Access to SQL Server)?
There is a known issue in SQL Server 2008 if connecting with OLE DB http://support.sas.com/kb/39/188.html
It is also know for the same, connecting with ODBC: http://support.sas.com/kb/40/080.html
Hope it helps!

Do a google search for "sas import MS SQL date" and see if the results are helpful. The two KB articles mentioned by @JuanS_OCS will also pop up, and several related posts here on the communities.
Indeed @Kurt_Bremser! I repeatedly suggest diverse SAS communities colleagues to google or search at support.sas.com.
I think that should be able to help many people, even quicker than what we can 🙂
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
