I am using SAS enterprise guide 7.15 on a windows machine. I am having a sporadic issue where I go to File --> Import Data and the import window does not pop up and Enterprise Guide becomes unresponsive. If I click or try do something within EG nothing happens until I hit escape.

I have tried relaunching EG and restarting my device. Does this happen to anyone else? If so, any tips on how to get File --> Import data working again?

Might be showing on a different display? Or off screen?

If you suspect that you have a window that's "in focus" but off screen, use these keyboard shortcuts:

Alt+SPACE, then M, then use the arrow keys to move the window into view.

Practice a few times with your multiple displays to get the hang of it.

EG *should* detect that a window is out-of-view and move it into the primary display if needed, but it's possible that there is an instance or two where this isn't happening.

Thanks Chris, you nailed it! The import window was "opening" and wasn't visible. I ended up alt+space then x to maximize it. That is the only way I could "see" it.
