Dear SAS Champs,

What I am looking for some support / guidance on the IFRS-17 coding in SAS. We have developed the prototypes and going to release the code into production.

We need some guidance on the coding part and also if someone has done it previously could guide us on few of the prototypes.

Looking forward

Thank you

I assume that what you're talking about is not the IFRS17 content pack which comes as one of the solutions under the SAS Risk offerings but it's fully site specific hand-coded stuff.

If all hand-coded then I guess you will need to ask very specific coding questions here as anything else feels rather big and like a request for specialized consulting services which you will likely not get for free.

you are right Patrick, we have coded almost everything related to IFRS17 but now facing few challenges.
Is it possible if we come into a call and discuss the challenges we face and if possible you can guide us on the way forward.

Thank you

@alamather What you're asking for are consulting services which is something you won't get on this forum and for free. There are SAS Professional Services, consultancies and contractors which offer such services.

I am involved in IFRS 9 work and if it is anything like IFRS 17 then a few guidance phone calls simply won't cut it. IFRS-related programming is highly specialist and highly complex. And if there is a major modelling component like IFRS 9 even more so. If you are doing this work at a major financial institution then undoubtedly there will be significant regulatory and audit oversight. Professional and probably expensive expert consulting advice is really the only option.
