Hello,
I used to use proc tabulate to get a range of dates in a normal format (e.g., 2018/07/18).
proc tabulate data=mydata;
var dob;
table dob,
n nmiss (min max)*f=mmddyy10.;
run;
Now, I started using SAS Enterprise Guide and I am looking for pull-down menus (if there are any) to get this information.
Could anybody tel me how to get a range of dates in a normal format?
Thank you,
Yoko
Yes, it's a little obscure. In "Summary Tables", the second tab lets you "draw" your table by dragging your variables and the statistics. When you've done that (I've attached what mine looks like), right click on the "max" header, select "Data Value Properties", select the "Format" tab, and pick the desired date format.

The "Summary Tables" task will let you do exactly this.
Once you have the table set up the way you like it, right-click on the "max" box and select "Data Value Properties". There's a "Format" tab, where you can pick the desired date format.

Hi Tom,
I got a table and right-clicked on the max. But, there was no option for formatting. Could you explain what you mean by the table set up? I guess you did not mean the actual table to click...
Thank you,
Yoko
