I am creating a SAS dataset from SAS EG and want to use that SAS table to replace an Excel file used in a current Excel workbook.  I can pull the SAS table into the spreadsheet with the SAS Addin but cannot connect the existing pivot to that data.  The 'Use External Data Source" is grayed out.  I can get the Wizard to come up using   Alt DP.  When I back the Wizard up, it does not seem to find the Connection.  It looks like I am really close on this, and I am hoping not to have to re-create all the pivots from scratch.  Thanks for your help.

Prima facie the solution depends on your environment.
Consider the following  scenarios
1.SAS EG and SAS installed locally on your desktop/laptop

2.  SAS EG on your desktop/laptop and connecting to a server

3.The server is WINDOW OR LINUX/UNIX
