We have just got our servers restored , and non of can login through SAS EG 9.4 .

When we try to login we get poput asking for credentials for SAS metadata repository .

Even after inserting our SAS EG credentials pop-up comes bak again and again .

Is there anyone who has faced the same issue before , if anyone has solution for this please reply .

(please see file attached )

Thanks in advance .

Hi @sachinjagtap ,

Looks like you aren't able to authenticate to metadata server. Will you be able to check metadata server logs and see for any errors reported there?

In a default installation logs are present at below location:

SAS Metadata Server
Windows: Lev1\SASMeta\MetadataServer\Logs
UNIX or z/OS: Lev1/SASMeta/MetadataServer/Logs

Thanks!

Hi!

You will need to have the role "Log on as batch job" assigned to you (usually by group assignment).

Is it possible that you have lost that?

It depends on the setup that you have for authentication, but your SAS Connection profile will have the answer.

Switch any one user SAS Connection Profile from Use Integrated Windows Authentication to Save Login in profile. Put in the user's login with or without the domain prefix, depending on your setup and save the profile.

The end-user should get a prompt once when they open EG and their credentials should stay saved until they change their password.
