Are there any tricks or button to make the log not automatically saved?

I ran soneone's a program in a big SAS EG project on 07/31, after I ran, I checked the log and result were correct, then I saved the project  (but not the program) and closed it. On 08/07, I found out that log didn't update, it showed the the date was 07/12, that was the date I first ran the program. But normmally, my own programs in SAS EG project, their logs were updated automaticaaly after I ran.  Are there any tircks or button  to make the log not automatically saved? Thank you for your help.

What O/S and EG version are you running? Does this problem happen with other projects?

I generally save each run individually with a unique name so that the log is saved...YMMV.
