Hi All,
I am facing an issue where the SAS portal is displaying values which are not in the SAS dataset which sources it. Lo0oks like there is an issue with the OLAP cube formation.
What should be done in such a scenario?
Regards,
Sreelekha
Follow the flow of data back. Look at the definition of the web report, then at the information map referenced in the report, and finally at the cube referenced in the information map. You might have a drill-through table with values that do not match the base table (for instance).
Looks like normal trouble shooting.
Check when and how the cube i generated/updated.
Is the cube structure ok, ot could there be calculations or other structural issues (depending on what type of data you/analysis req).
The issue is the same cube sources the other columns as well. Those values are exactly correct. There is only one column whose valyes are appearing wrong.
How far off are the values? You could either have a numeric precision issue (very small deviation) or an incorrectly used statistic (average instead of sum, for instance, causing a big deviation). Also look if some kind of security is applied via the information map that causes certain values to miss.
