Hi,

Can someone help me on this query.

I've a column with nearly 1000+ rows and I wanted to make them into equal groups (if not equal, at least partially equal.). I mean it will be okay if I create a new flag column which represents 10 groups.

How can I do this using SQL.....?

Please provide some inputs at least..!

Thanks.

Use Proc Rank.

SQL doesn't have a supported row count function that will allow you to do this. Monotonic() is unsupported so you could try that
