We have an issue with an http request in one of the flows of data management studio to get all details from SAS Business Data Network (BDN) (SAS 9.4 , SAS DAtaFlux 2.8). This flow works successfully but in the last run we get the following error message:
Error in HTTP Request 1: Web Service Client - The Java Proxy 'Invoke' call failed , code = 2 (404)
Any idea how to fix it?
Thank you.
Hi,
There might be a bit more information in the SAS Business Data Netwok log file.
Can you check there if any error message is written?
Thanks,
Audrey
Hi Audrey,
I found logs in path: drive:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\DataFlux\DMStudio\2.8\Logs. But, I only found the error message:
Web Service Client - The Java Proxy 'Invoke' call failed , code = 2 (404)
Is there another log file I can search for?
Thanks,
Haris
The logs in DMStudio\2.8\Logs are the Data Management Studio logs (= the client log).
The error message you get seem to indicate a problem on the SAS Business Data Network side. The logs for this app should be (by default) under config\Lev1\Web\Logs\SASServer13_1.
Hello Audrey,
We found what caused this failure. It was a term that there was not existing in BDN so we removed it from the terms' list and the http request works successfully.
Thank you.
