Configuration option for DataFlux Data Management Studio doesn't work

Hi everyone!

I am trying to set a configuration option named "EXPRESS_MAX_STRING_LENGTH" in app.cfg file of both DataFlux Data Management Studio and DataFlux Data Management Server, but either set this option or not, it does not make any difference - it doesn't work.

What I have added in app.cfg is:

EXPRESS_MAX_STRING_LENGTH = 10000000

What I want is to extend the length of a string because I need to assign many characters to a string in DataFlux using Expression Language.

Do you have any suggestions why this configuration option does not work?

I searched the SAS documentation and only found this as an option in DataFlux Data Management Studio . You make the change in the app.cfg file in the etc folder where DDMS is installed. Did you close and open DDMS after making the change? Other than that maybe someone from SAS can comment.
