Hi,

Patform: SAS Customer Intelligence Studio

Question: How do I go about creating a node that selects data based on Dynamic Date Range.

Example: the JOB executes today.  The select node will choose date based on TODAY() and TODAY() -7 in order to get the last 7 days worth.

thanks,

Hi,

That's actually very simple and convenient. In the Select node, you chose the data item that you want to apply criteria to (the date you're interested in).

If the information map was set up correctly,  your Value selection window will look like that:

Screen Shot 2017-01-30 at 10.40.25.png

Chose "Today" option, and then enter "-7" as Minimum and "0" as Maximum. These will be required offset from today's date.

If your Value selection window looks different, this means your information map was not configured properly, and needs to be fixed there. The data item needs to be of Date type and Interval level for it to function properly.

Hope it helps!

Best regards, Dmitriy.
