In this Feb post we teased you with the latest SAS Customer Intelligence 360 feature - Journeys. Well, it's now rolling out - on May 7th the new Scheduled Journeys feature will be available in all tenants. 

 

There are 3๏ธโƒฃ aspects to this update:

  1. "Activities" is now "Real-time Journeys". This name better reflects the use cases which this feature serves best (real-time 1:1 trigger-based multi-channel experiences). This comes with an updated canvas look & feel.
  2. "Scheduled Journeys" introduced. Orchestrate a series of bulk tasks on a schedule you prescribe with Scheduled Journeys (bulk schedule-oriented multi-channel experiences). Personalize the experience with Split nodes to determine the best path for your customers; use audience and/or event attributes to personalize task content.
    • Scheduled Journeys always start with an Audience
    • Schema 17 includes a new array of "Journey" UDM tables you can download to analyze object metadata and execution details.

  3. New & improved Left Nav. Sections reorganized (find Segments under Targeting). Collapse/expand sections as you wish (we'll remember your selections). Favorite your fav's for quick access at the top of the panel. If panel is collapsed, sections fly out to show you options.

Enhancements for Scheduled Journeys are already in the works.
