I am using SAS CI Version 6.3 Hotfix 01 and have two questions:

(#1) Say I select 'Cell represents a control group' on a cell node going into communication node.  The values inserted on contact history is '_11' on 'CONTACT_HISTORY_STATUS_CD' field.  Shouldn't it be '_20'?  Here is what i found.

CONTACT_HISTORY_STATUS_CD CONTACT_HISTORY_STATUS_DESC
_11 Executed
_13 Excluded Mandatory Contacts
_20 Control Group
_30 Failed

(#) Can the cell checked as 'Cell represents a control group' be used as control holdout for MAMO processing?

Hello,

regarding your first question, this is already documented in this SAS Note: http://support.sas.com/kb/59/159.html

and a hot fix is planned for this issue.

You can still differentiate control group contacts using CONTROL_GROUP_TYPE_CD column from the CI_CELL_PACKAGE table, that you join to your contact history by CELL_PACKAGE_SK.

So while there is a minor product issue that needs a hot fix, it is easily worked around as all the data you need is in CDM.

Thanks Dmitry.

Can we assign these customer who are setup as control on the cell as "control holdout" for MAMO processing?
