Hi all! In last night's discussion about clustering, someone asked a great question about choosing the right number of clusters for the k-means algorithm. As part of SAS Visual Statistics, you can specify for SAS to use the Aligned Box Criterion (ABC) to automatically choose the optimal number of clusters when all inputs are measures. To accomplish this, select the Cluster object > expand Options on the right side pane > find the Cluster section > for Number of clusters, choose Automatic (Aligned box criterion).
