I am preparing to sit the examination for:

Module 1 - Big data preparation, statistics and visual exploration.

I have taken the practice exam and noticed it was divided into three sections, namely:

1. Anova and regression;

2. Data management;

3. Visual data exploration.

It appeared to me that these sections corresponded to certain courses within this module, namely: Statistics 1 introduction to ANOVA, regression and logistic regression; Preparing data for analysis and reporting; and Exploring data for with SAS visual analytics, respectively. May I please know if this is correct? If that is the case, then I'm wondering if the other courses in the module e.g. Crafting compelling (and true) data stories; Case studies etc. are NOT assessed in the exam?

Thank you kindly for your help.

Hi:
The full content guide for the module 1 exam is here:

https://www.sas.com/content/dam/SAS/en_us/doc/other1/certification/exam-content/big-data-exam1.pdf

The Case Studies are intended as a study aid for the exam to allow you to synthesize the material from all the classes in the module. These are the same case studies that the in-person students used to prepare for the exam.

We can't tell you EXACTLY what will be on the exam. Please review the content guide from the certification web site and be sure you are comfortable with all of the topics.
