Hi:
We do NOT recommend the use of "myshortcuts" as you show in your code. In your shared folder location
/folders/myfolders
you should make a subfolder called EPG1V2: /folders/myfolders/EPG1V2

So then, when you load the zip contents to that location, you should have:
/folders/myfolders/EPG1V2/data
(plus some other folders: activities, demos, practices, output ... along with the data folder).

The fact that you are using a "myshortcuts" location indicates that as @Reeza said, you did not set up your shared folder location correctly. Our programs all expect the data to be in: /folders/myfolders/EPG1V2/data for SAS University Edition in a Virtual Machine and in /home/<userID>/EPG1V2/data for SAS OnDemand for Academics.

Hope this helps,
Cynthia

This tells me that you did not set up your shared folder correctly. You need to go back to the setup instructions, from the SAS UE installation and create it properly. It's not a huge deal except when you're trying to follow instructions that then won't align with your code in a course.

1. Shut down your VM

2. Create a local folder on your local drive that you want to use to store your SAS course notes and call it myfolders. All lower case, with the s which is missing from your file name. Or rename your old folder.

3. Verify that it is added to the VM as a shared folder and auto-mounted.

4. Start up your VM and you should be able to use the correct folder structure now.
