Hello everyone,
since I am using a virtual machine to work with SAS University Edition (Univerisity Edition_1) data files stored on the hard drive of my device can not be found by SAS University Edition.
But following several posts in a forum for users of virtualbox the import of data files from the hard drive into SAS University Edition should be possible via shared folders. I was looking for the explanation of this option in the tutorial "Programming 1: Essentials". Unfornutaley i did not find any more details concerning this issue.
Consequently I would appreciate it very much if anyone could give me an advice how to make my data files detectable for SAS University Edition.
Kind regards
Isabel

Hi @IsabelMaria,
You might of not set up the shared folder. Try this video: Setting Up Shared Folders for SAS University Edition
Here is one on Accessing Your Existing Data: for SAS University Edition. She runs through checking your shared folder and how to find the path to your folder.
Let me know if this helps.

Hi Peter,
thanks to the recommended tutorials I was able to set up the shared folder and afterwards to import the data in SAS which were stored in the shared folder.
Best regards
Isabel
