when i generate PDF file using ODS PDF 0'S,1'S and '-'s appear in front of each and every page. how should this be eliminated?

What operating system are you currently generating this output on? Was this output moved from a different operating system?

I am using MVS operating system (mainframes).
The PDF file generated is sent as an attachment to mail.

What you are seeing are MVS printer control characters.

Unfortunately, it's been so long since I've worked in MVS that I can't remember how to get rid of them.

If you are creating the file using RECFM=VBA, change this to RECFM=VB.
