Is there a way to override SAS and expand the output from a PROC FREQ such that the row headers do not wrap around, but instead print on one line?

Hi:
If you are talking about CROSSTABS, you may need to move to a different procedure, such as PROC TABULATE in order to control the column headers. See this thread for an example of a CROSSTABS using TABULATE instead of PROC FREQ.
