I wanna input a time variable into a dataset... like "220406", which means HHMMSS (22:04:06).

Can anyone help to input this number (220406) to a store as a proper time format in SAS ? Thanks a lot!

try informats hhmmss. or ND8601TM.

not sure where they are documented, but they worked on
your string !
