PROC Tabulate, PC SAS vs. Mainframe SAS

I'm trying to convert a PC SAS program to the mainframe. Is it possible in mainframe SAS to suppress the labels for CLASS variables? It seems the labels are automatically suppressed in PC SAS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

TABULATE is supposed to behave the same regardless of the hardware platform and operating system.

To suppress class headings, assign an empty label, e.g.:
[pre]
proc tabulate data=sashelp.class;
class sex age;
var height;
table sex, age=""*height*(mean median);
run;
[/pre]
Things get a little trickier with row headings. By default TABULATE will render an empty heading cell rather than tossing the cell. If you want to toss the cell, use the ROW=FLOAT TABLE statement option, e.g:
[pre]
proc tabulate data=sashelp.class;
class sex age;
var height;
table sex="", age=""*height*(mean median)/row=float;
run;
[/pre]
