DDE to Excel

Hi,

In the past we’ve used a DDE to update a spreadsheet via SAS.
It gradually started failing on us and now will just not run.
Errors differ from user to user. We’ve seen everything from “Access Denied. Please contact admin” to “File is locked by another user”. Now it just causes the SAS session to freeze.

Has anyone had any issues with DDE?
