Agenda
- Model factory - From idea to model in production in a matter of hours
- 90 percent of data science models never make it into production. Putting a new model into production can be a time-consuming process involving IT, datawarehouse and data scientists from different business teams.
- But it doesn’t have to be. We have created a framework that allows us to put new models and scoring data into production in a matter of hours. This is accomplished using our model factory application, the sas VIYA api, and our sas 9.4 datawarehouse. The solution seeks to unite the entire Analytical Life Cycle in one interface, and to make sure that all models are - by design -ready for production
- By Stian **bleep**erli Arntsen, Sparbank 1
- DS2 coding and relation to VDMML
- Is it time to move from SAS Data Step to SAS Data Step 2 (aka DS2)?
- DS2 is a programming language introduced in SAS 9.4 back in 2013. Today it runs both in SAS 9 and Viya (CAS and SPRE), but also support SAS’ “in-database” technology meaning SAS code can execute in e.g. Oracle or Hadoop. The presentation will explain what DS2 is and where it can be used, followed by a demo.
- By Daniel Ringqvist, SAS
- From Data to Prediction on the Web
- Simple ModelOps process using SAS Visual Analytics (including Visual Statistics and Visual Data Mining and MachineLearning) and SAS Model Manager.
- By Xavier Bizoux, SAS Global (GEL)
- Proc Python/Python steps
- Introduction to Proc Python and Pythons steps now available in SAS Studio on Viya 4
- By Wilbram Hazejager, Principal Systems Architect, SAS R&D.
