Hi all,
I'm in the midst of a mid-life career change, trying to get into a job in the clinical trials world (but have been open to academic or research-oriented positions).
In July I passed the Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 exam. I have paid for a SAS Advanced Programming Learning Subscription, and used it to study for the Advanced Programming and Clinical Trials Programming exams. I took them last week but did not pass. I feel I have a good idea of what topics I need to study better to pass the exams. I'll try again in a few weeks.
In the meantime, I have been looking for hands-on projects that will give me more practical experience and practice going from raw data sets to CDISC ADAM and SDTM datasets and TLFs. I found some at GreatOnlineTraining.com and SASCrunch. People have recommended those to me, but I feel that they're not up to par in quality as the training courses I've been taking through SAS Institute directly. But, I've been having trouble finding any official SAS Institute courses that would be similar to a hands-on project such as this one at SASCrunch (https://www.sascrunchtraining.com/clinical-projects.html).
Does anyone know of any official SAS course/projects like this? I know that there are challenges that are posted, which I'm willing to try, but I'm really looking for more of a teaching experience, i.e., something that presents a project, and then works through it with me.
Thanks!
-Theresa

Good question.
I wonder if @SunilGupta might have some useful information at his site https://sassavvy.com/. I see pages like https://sassavvy.com/new_clinical_SAS_programmer.html .
In terms of official SAS training, it might be easiest to call or email them directly.
I look forward to hearing from others.

Thanks @Quentin and @SunilGupta ! I appreciate the info. Sunil, the class looks great. I will give you a call.
@SunilGupta, do you also have anything that goes over TLFs? I haven't yet been able to find a place that will take me on without prior work experience, but I feel that if I can get practice such as what's included in your class, I will at least be able to honestly say I have experience working with these concepts. One of my cohorts, who has at least had a call back and interview, said that experience with TLFs is very important. He is the one who suggested GreatOnlineTraining.com, as they have a full CDISC course on SDTM, ADAM, and TLFs. However, my hearing is not always great, and the audio on their videos is not always great either.
Anyway, I will give you a call, Sunil. I look forward to speaking with you!
