I am trying to download SAS - University Edition for school and all I get is the message above "Oops! Your profile does not have permission to complete this download." I have tried multiple browsers and the system keeps handing out the same message.

Hi, @B_Baker, we're sorry to hear that you're having this issue. As per checking, your profile is active and within the download limit, so you should be all set. From what I understand about this particular message there is some kind of security block on your end. This issue could a web browser setting, anti-virus, firewall, network, or user non-admin permission issue. You can try the following: switch to another internet connection, clear your browser cache, navigate the SAS University Edition download page via Google Chrome's incognito mode function. Also, please be reminded that SAS University Edition will be terminated soon, thus we encourage learners like you to consider transitioning to another one of our free software options: SAS OnDemand for Academics. Please visit this page for more details. I hope this information helps. Let me know if there's anything else we can be of further assistance.

Thank you for the reply. I am not sure what happened as it suddenly started working earlier this afternoon. It tried two different computers with different browsers. The second machine is actually a fairly clean installation, so it does not carry the baggage of my standard machine. Same results. The only thing I did different was downloaded a copy of the SAS Managed Downloader. I tried installing it, but did not have a software key to make it work. It was shortly after that download that the other file started downloading. Very strange situation, but I am working now. The class dictates what environment we use, so I will have to use this application until further notice.

Thank you for your help.
