Running SAS Viya jobs using an external Schedular

At present SAS 9.4 jobs are being scheduled using an external scheduler.
As migration to Viya 4 is planned, looking to run the jobs in Viya 4 using the external scheduler.
Wondering if anybody can guide to appropriate references on running the jobs using UNIX command line or may be rest API using say curl. The expectation is that the scheduler receives error signal in case of failure.
Running jobs through postman is not under consideration.

Not sure if it's what you want, but jobs can be run with the SAS Job Execution Web Application from a command-line interface -
