SAS Content Assessment 2024.09 Released

This release includes the following:

  • System evaluation looks in the security_hotfix.properties file to see whether the hot fix version value is less than 17.0. If it is, you are alerted and provided a link for more information. As security updates become available, the hot fix check is updated for the current value.
  • The import EG projects application provides an option, --generate-import-script, that specifies to generate a script that invokes this application in parallel. Each invocation specifies a CSV that includes a subset of the SAS Enterprise Guide projects in the source location.
  • The import SAS packages application provides an option, --generate-import-script, that specifies to generate a script that invokes this application in parallel. Each invocation specifies a CSV that includes a subset of the SAS packages in the source location.
  • Unless specified not to, all obfuscation is performed by the publish application.
  • If a file to be shared is larger than 3 GB, the publish application splits it into 3 GB chunks automatically. If the chunks are successfully created, the original file is deleted from the ASSESSMENT_UPLOADSDIR directory.
  • New keywords have been added to the code check application.
  • The SAS 9 application usage application identifies load-balanced object spawners and provides guidance to ensure all logs across machines are analyzed.
  • The SAS 9 Inventory report includes items User, UserGroup, Role, and Login and their Frequencies.
  • Enhancements have been made, performance has improved, and issues have been addressed across the applications.
