Does anyone have code or know a paper that describes creating box plots side-by-side when you just have the mean, median, 25th percentile, and 75th percentile for two or more variables?

Thank you.

I think you need the extremities as well (min/max).

If you wanted to ignore that you could just set it to the 25/75th percentile I suppose.

The link above shows how to do it in the response from Rob Allison
