default values for DYNAMIC variables?

Great insights, Quentin, comparing template and macro compilation. Thanks for that. My comfort level with inline templates dropped a notch 🙂 But without GTL support for default values, I still feel options remain limited. Like everything, it's about assessing balancing trade-offs -- which everyone here has helped me do better.

Can you use MVAR/NMVAR instead of DYNAMIC as a workaround?
