creating polar steographic map projections

i would like to plot data on a polar stereographic projection true at 60N; can you provide some advice or a reference on how to proceed;

Will the PROJ4 projections in Proc GPROJECT work? Look at the documentation for "TO" in GPROJECT.

You may need to GOOGLE this projection and PROJ4 also.
