SAS Mapsgfk data outdated

Dear all,

I have a question regarding the data in the SAS-Mapsgfk folder, I realise that most of the data are outdated. For example Germany and Germany_attr were last updated in 2012. Is it advisable to still use these data or can one update them through some work arounds?

According to the SAS documentation, the latest data sets can be downloaded from here.
