Format a plot in SAS-Stickman graph

I am using the below code to create stickman graph using SAS. This code comes from an example Robert Allison posted online. In his example he use 100 people as his population size but I want to increase it to 1000 people, as seen in the code. I was able to get it to run fine with 100 people but the problem  I am running in to is that when I up the population size to 1000 people everything gets spaced weirdly. I  have to have the height of the character really small so they don't overlap and then the spacing on the x axis is too wide. Does anyone know how to change spacing so the stickmen are close to eachother but not overlapping? Code for what I am doing is below.

I'm not quite sure what you want for final appearance but I learned a long time ago that if I wanted specific appearance then you want to pay attention to the size UNITS you are specifying for your symbols, legends and axis text.

I suspect that if you start by specifying something like height=8pt, put in something for size on the legends symbol and text, and axis tickmarks, values and offsets and change the aspect ratio of your display area so there is a bit more y space and reduce x (since you say small symbols are too far apart) possibly xpixels=700 and ypixels=800.
