Hi,

I am currently setting up hrv demo running in tomcat 3.3.
I was able to open up the hrv service and have object spawner running. But when I try to test the iom via iomtest.jsp I get an error:
"Exception: com.sas.iom.WorkspaceFactoryException: IOM.S003.ex.txt: WorkspaceFactory cannot create enough connections to satisfy the minimum size requirements of a pool either because servers have failed or because the administrator did not provide enough servers."

Here is the log of the object spawner:
Our host name is lolxx.its.gmb (127.0.0.1).

I've already setup the correct local securities and hot fixes but I still get the same error.

Hi Banoob,

I'm struggeling with the same Exception.

Are you using all the V9.2 jar-Files? I think my problem could have to do with the lack of 'sas.iom.tools.jar' and 'sas.iom.prx.sasmqx.jar'. These two get installed with SASFoundationService. I have no clue how to install thus, I'll find the files not even in the software depot.

My java log brings this back:

The problem might be in CORBA. The connection seems to be lost before SAS replies.

Have you seen this note?

It is difficult to get straight help in this forum. It seems you have to be a java/corba/iom/tomcat/sas specialist to investigate deeper in this.

For issues like this, that have to do with configuration/installation, my recommendation is that you need Technical Support help that is tailored for your particular site.

My suggestion would be that you open a track by going directly to the Tech Support Problem Form here:

Hi cynthia,

Thank you for your hint. First, I'll try to have 'SASFoundationServices' installed at our site and will then work with the new java classes. Hopefully the counterparts (like IOM) will respond positively.

It is difficult to track problems between communication services. When you were the last one to change a software component in the chain you can end up very isolated as all the other focused specialists claim "works as before" for their area. And you'll never nowhere find a technician who is able to cover the whole channel. Translates into: there *can* be no place to find 'straight help', nowhere in the web.
