When connecting to SAS using JDBC and sasiom I only get back default libraries

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding connecting to SAS using jdbc and sasiom protocol.
I have connected to SAS using jdbc and sasiom and specified the librefs parameter in the connection string.
I am then trying to query dictionary.libraries and dictionary.tables but I only get back the default libraries. Why is that?
I know that I have access to the library as when I changed to a different library I got a permission error.
