SAS Extension: Visual Studio Code SAS 9.4 SSH failing "Failed to connect to agent"

With a recent update for the extension of for VSC I am not getting an error message stating 'Failed to connect to agent"

I have had this working in the past without issue.  This is specific to SAS 9.4 SSH connections only. I can get the new IOM to work but our users do not like the SAS Workspace for various reasons. The new IOM also does not seem to support our load balanced configuration., 

Does anyone know how to get more information on what this error means or have seen this before?
