Prepopulating STP prompts based on user

How do I get prompts to a stored procedure to populate with only the records I am allowed to see?  In EBI,  used information maps, but I do not know how to do so in VA? The prompt selection source table (it was a dynamic prompt) was regulated by row-level permissions using the _SECUREUSERNAME macro variable.

Would the PROC IMAP block be the solution in VA?
