Hello 

 

I am trying to connect the CAS server with the swat python package on jupyter notebook,

But every time run the code I am getting an error msg.

 

Code i am using 

conn = swat.CAS(hostname = "",port = 8777,username = "",password = "")

 

i have also added the environment variable 

 

Now the error msg that is coming as 
SWATError: Unable to connect to any URL in the list: ""

 

I had also tried connecting directly to the SASViya and when I had tried uploading a file I am getting the following error: - 

A SAS software component required for managing tables could not be loaded.
A SAS software component required for managing tables could not be loaded. The action stopped due to errors. code: 2-3-2710013 property: TKCASTAB_INSTLOAD_FAILED uri: /casManagement/servers/cas-shared-default/caslibs/Public/tables

Yes, i was using the single quotes, i was getting issues with the certificates, It has been resolved now.

Hi @anishkapoor ,

Did you add the hostname, username, and password from your SAS Viya server inside the quotes in your command? Something like:

conn = swat.CAS('https://my-cas-host.com:443/cas-shared-default-http/', username='user1', password='abc123') as described in the Python SWAT documentation
