SAS Support Communities: Here We Grow Again!
BeverlyBrown
Community Manager

If the SAS Support Communities were a city, we’d have serious growing pains. There've been more than four million page views since last September. We're about to exceed 82,000 members as hundreds sign up each month.

We're adding communities, too.

Go over to these new boards, say hello and start sharing what you know! communities-icon.png

Even better, have some friends join you.

Customer Intelligence Community

SAS CI software users have long interacted in the communities, but discussions have been spread across several boards. This community consolidates those discussions in one place for greater convenience and effectiveness.

Under the SAS Communities Library, under the Customer Intelligence label, you’ll find some of this product line’s most popular support.sas.com’s documentation, plus some original tips from SAS Technical Support and SAS consultants.

Certification Community

The SAS Certification Community went live in conjunction with the launch of our digital badging initiative, a way for certified SAS users to tout their credentials on LinkedIn and other channels. A welcome message from community manager Becky Gray drew comments from users proud of their SAS credentials and ready to add more.

The corresponding label in the library has an article on the do’s and don’ts of using the Certification Community and more.

Intelligent Advertising

This community joins the Customer Intelligence Community in our Customer Intelligence category. Recent posts there include one on SAS phasing out FTP sites in favor of AWS S3 buckets.

The library’s Intelligent Advertising label includes some of that product’s most popular documentation.

Risk Management

Over at the new Risk Management board, users recently discussed clarifying a situation involving delta normal analysis and calculating Basel II Capital Requirements. The Risk Management label in the library has a growing collection of articles.

SAS Global Forum 2016

This community for SAS Global Forum 2016 attendees has had epic levels of engagement in the run up to SAS’ largest annual user gathering.

Which board(s) do you spend the most time on?
