Great news! Our SAS Support Communities has won the 2024 Khoros Kudos Award for Best Use of Data and Insights in Community.
It's a very "on-brand" recognition for us, since we use SAS analytics software extensively to help drive the operation and insights that make our community successful.
This community serves as a hub for many of the programs that are centered around interaction with SAS users. In addition to the robust discussion forums, we use the community as a home for the Hacker's Hub (our annual SAS Hackathon), Ask the Expert webinar summaries and archives, hubs for many regional groups and SAS User Groups and much, much more. At SAS we use data from the community, combined with other data at SAS, to measure the success of our engagements and help to plan improvements to all of our programs. We're also able to demonstrate the value of community to other people at SAS, which is one reason that we have such a high participation from SAS employees who love to engage with customers.
The Khoros Kudos Awards are sponsored by Khoros, the service platform that we use to host this community. There are lots of other "big names" who also use this service -- and who host some really great communities that we admire. When we "compete" for this recognition I'm always very proud of how SAS stands up, while also being impressed and inspired by the work we see from others.
