Hi @babu-in

If you can share more details it would be helpful. You have mentioned that you will be moving web tier from non-distributed to distributed. How does this involve hadoop cluster?

Usually SAS web tier (also called mid-tier) has components like cache locator, web server, web application server, activemq. If your web tier shares the same server with any of the other SAS tier there could be additional components as well.

I think you should do a detailed impact analysis based on your current architecture and see what all changes you may have to perform for making this change.

Hello @babu-in
1. Moving from SUSE EL to RHEL should noth have any issue.
2. Have SAS Midtier on its own server. You may be having your data and  processing in the Hadoop cluster.
SAS Access Interface to Hadoop will help you connect to the data in Hadoop. https://www.sas.com/en_us/software/access-interface-hadoop.html )
