SAS running on virtual linux

Hi everyone
I’ve been out of the SAS game for a while know. So pretty much a beginner again.
We are looking at running sas on Linux virtual servers. Does anyone have experience on this and able to provide some advice on performance and set-up.

I don't have experience with a virtualized Linux, but our SAS server is a AIX LPAR. There was no difference to using a bare-metal system. Log in, copy the software order to the server, get a graphical user interface, start the deployment wizard.
