Hello all,
Could someone explain the difference (if any) between the SAS Explore and SAS Innovate events?
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
Anne.

Explore is for the engineers and scientists working with SAS.
Innovate is for the people providing the money for the necessary computers and software licenses.
Explore is hands-on, Innovate is glitzy.
After the conferences, the Explore attendees often have to keep the Innovate attendees from spending money for things they think are extremely easy, when they aren't.

Innovate is "for business leaders, decision makers, and professionals" (whatever professionals means).
Explore is more targeted to the doers: statisticians, programmers, system admins etc.
But if I understand correctly, these events will merge in April 2024.
Yes, @LinusH is correct. SAS Innovate is the name of the new event (April 16-19, 2024) that is for technologists (users), leaders and partners. All back together again -- which reflects feedback we heard from many people who missed that "all of us" experience from the past.
So the Global Forum returns, but some people don't have the guts to admit the mistake of splitting the conferences and therefore do not want to use the old name.
