Hi All,
I am getting the below error message when trying to login into SAS but other team members can login into SAS (we sit in same location and using same network) Please can you advise?

Which means someone intentionally crippled your Windows installation by preventing the use of telnet (for some reason I cannot fathom, Microshit made that configurable).
But your original post contains the answer in the pop-up message: the hostname could not be resolved by the domain name system. Have your network admins take a look at it.
Open a command line on your Windows machine (cmd), run a command shown below and show me the output:
telnet METADATA_SERVER_HOST 8561

The detailed message 'The machine name cannot be resolved to an IP address" means it cannot resolve the metadata server host name to an address. This may be because you are using short host name and the domain suffix list your machine has does not include the domain for where the metadata server is located. Try connecting using the full host name including domain.
