I am trying to find if anyone has created a viya caslib using a tnsname entry instead of the full path to the database. If possible, this will help switching server and keep the same Caslib instead of recreating a new one.

Thank you

Can you try the example provided in this link: https://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=casref&docsetTarget=n0s9iuu3d4cxjzn1st0z33ik35if.htm&docsetV...

caslib oralib
   datasource=(srctype='oracle',
               username='myuser1',
               password='myPwd',
               path="myORAdata");
