Hi,

Recently installed SAS9.4 M8 including VA in the RHEL9 servers and when tried to run the stored processes , getting the below error.

STP: The Request Init Stored Process failed.

When checked the logs, found out that apm_request_init.sas does not exist. ‘

Could anyone help on this.

Kind Regards,

Siddhartha

Perhaps this usage note will help.  Looks like an open issue: https://support.sas.com/kb/61/325.html.

I suggest you open a ticket with SAS Tech Support.

I suspect that besides the installation someone enabled the Audit reports in VA, plus probably enabled either the Extended Monitoring (EMI) or just APM.

There are 2 ways to workaround this:

1. To resolve the missing links, for this the link provided by Quentin is good.

2. Else, if you don’t need the STP logs being processed or if it’s not urgent, you can just comment out the include you may have to APM in your autoexec_usermods at least until the issue is fully resolved. At least it will make your STPs operational
