Hello,
Could you confirm whether sasdemo and sassrv user's are created when installing the SAS or its created after installation? I can't find these users in metadata and OS level.
A sassrv is a SAS Spawned Servers account, so yes it is a part of the installation. https://go.documentation.sas.com/?cdcId=bicdc&cdcVersion=9.4&docsetId=bisecag&docsetTarget=p18wh3fg2...
How do you use SAS, and did you install it?
We are using sas on AIX env. It includes metadata, compute and web server. No, this was installed by someone else.
@gwootton Thanks
Can you please advise where I have to look same account(sassrv) with different name?
Then check with your SAS admins why they did not activate the sasdemo, and which user is used to start pooled server processes.
